At the Hungary Pavilion, the past and the future come to life, creating an experience that not only showcases the cultural richness of Hungary but also captivates all the senses.
Our culinary offerings are not just about flavors — they tell the story of authentic Hungarian life. In every dish, you can discover the care of our grandmothers, the treasures of Hungarian soil, and the warmth of hospitality passed down through generations. In Hungary, dining is a communal experience that brings together family, friends, and generations — and this is precisely the feeling we wish to share with every guest at our bistro-style restaurant on the second level.
Miska Kitchen & Bar pays tribute to an iconic, traditional Hungarian object: the miskakancsó, a richly decorated, hatted jug used for serving wine for centuries. Over time, this human-headed jug has become a symbol of Hungarian hospitality and the shared joy of community.
Our dishes are defined by bold, full-bodied flavors, a harmonious balance of spicy, tangy, sweet, and hot notes, and the distinctive presence of paprika — a hallmark of Hungarian cuisine. Slow-cooked at low temperatures, our rich and juicy dishes are a true journey through time, perfectly complemented by our carefully curated selection of Hungarian wines.
At the Pavilion’s wine bar, guests can explore some of Hungary’s most exceptional wines — from light, fruity whites to full-bodied reds and unique sweet wines. Fröccs (a wine spritzer) combines the character of Hungarian wine regions with the refreshing ease of soda water, recognized as a true Hungarian specialty. Meanwhile, pálinka — Hungary’s iconic fruit brandy — reflects the dedication and love of the country’s fruit growers.
This vibrant medley of flavors and aromas can be savored in an atmosphere designed to engage all the senses, offering an unforgettable experience at the Hungarian Pavilion. After all, Hungarian cuisine doesn’t just nourish — it tells a story!
