Where Art Meets Science – Muography Through the Eyes of Art
Muography is one of the most fascinating yet mysterious branches of particle physics – the science of exploring the invisible world. Due to its complexity, it often remains inaccessible to the general public. This event aims to build bridges that bring this remarkable field of knowledge closer to all of us.
In this inspiring session, two exceptional speakers – Dr. Hiroshi Nakajima (painter and Secretary General of the Kansai Hungary Friendship Association) and Dr. Kenji Sumiya (President of International Art Institute and Member of International Muography Research Institute) – will explore how the precision of science and the sensitivity of art can meet and enrich one another.
The event seeks to make the world of muons more tangible and approachable through the language of art. Muography thus becomes not only understandable, but personally experienceable – as a feeling, a thought, a work of art.
