Celebrating 75 Years of Excellence in Dance Education
The Hungarian Dance University, marking its 75th anniversary this year, stands as a unique institution in European higher arts education, offering an exceptionally broad range of programs in dance artistry, choreography, and dance pedagogy. As the organizer of Hungary’s only professional classical ballet competition, the Budapest Ballet Grand Prix, the university nurtures and develops both national and universal dance arts.
Beyond its professional arts training, the university is committed to promoting the role of dance in mental health, offering programs focused on stress management, burnout prevention, and “dance for health” initiatives.
The impact of their work is most evident through their graduates, who perform in world-renowned companies such as the Győr Ballet. The university takes great pride in these dancers and the educators who have contributed to their professional development.
