Naszály Band
A Bridge Between Past and Present
Naszály Band invites the audience to a special concert at Osaka Expo 2025, where they will bring to life the most beautiful melodies of the Carpathian Basin’s musical traditions.
Their music is deeply rooted in the respect for authentic folk traditions, each performance pulses with the freshness of the present, offering a captivating experience for all generations. Their shows merge the timeless beauty of folk music with the dynamism of modern times, not only reviving Hungarian traditions but also presenting their richness and power in a new and exciting light.
The band has been performing together since 2013, united by a shared goal: to authentically and masterfully present the folk music heritage of the Carpathian Basin. Their work is multifaceted—beyond concerts, they regularly play at dance houses and accompany dance ensembles, contributing to the preservation of Hungarian dance traditions.
However, their activities extend beyond national borders. Year after year, they have the opportunity to showcase Hungary’s cultural heritage in Hungarian-speaking regions abroad, on various stages across Europe, and even to audiences on distant continents. Last year, they went on a Japanese tour, which was a great success among local audiences and proved to be an unforgettable experience for the band as well.
