How can you maintain discipline and still have a laugh in a classroom?
Military higher education is often dominated by rules, hierarchy and formality, but this does not exclude creative, experiential learning. In the presentation, we will talk about – and engage the audience with playful, interactive exercises – how to incorporate escape room challenges, digital quizzes or simulation exercises into even the most rigorous educational settings. The aim is not to relax discipline, but to transfer knowledge more effectively and engage students in the learning process. We will show how the regularity of the military can become an ally of playful learning – and how the word “curriculum” can be combined with the word “fun”.
