The Hungarian National Dance Ensemble – chamber production

Its treasure is the incomparably rich Hungarian folk dance repertoire. As the name reflects, the National Dance Ensemble is a dedicated custodian and interpreter of our national heritage and our thousand-year-old traditions. In addition to preserving Hungarian culture, they consider it an important mission to get to know and respect the culture of the different nationalities living together, which is considered the key to stay, survive and vitalize our culture here in the Carpathian basin.

For decades, they have been giving their audience new experiences as ambassadors of traditional folk dance and folk music culture. Their productions are characterised by extraordinary dynamism, virtuosity of dances, spectacular stage sets and a touch of magic whose roots are in our past and which is now our present.
