Living in a World of Tales – Kitti Csőke’s presentation in Osaka
Kitti Csőke, art educator and children’s book author, welcomes visitors to a special event at the Osaka Expo. Through her own storybooks, she explores how tales can come to life in different forms of art, all enriched with projections and exciting video content.
The world of tales is limitless – it brings joy, teaches, protects, and lets us soar. For Kitti Csőke, this is not just a belief but part of her everyday life: for the past 11 years, she has been leading story-based sessions at the MODEM Centre for Modern and Contemporary Arts. She not only writes her own tales but also illustrates them.
At the Osaka World Expo, she shares the background and creation of her books, and how stories can connect with moving images and visual arts. The program, complete with visual projections and creative videos, offers an inspiring experience for all ages. Following the presentation, participants are invited to a storytelling session and creative workshop, where imagination truly knows no bounds.
