The Wagner Nándor Foundation is honored to host this special event at Osaka Expo, celebrating the life and legacy of the Hungarian-born sculptor Wagner Nándor, whose artistic journey and humanistic philosophy found a profound resonance in Japanese culture. After emigrating to Japan in 1969, Wagner spent the final decades of his life immersed in the spiritual and artistic traditions of his adopted home, creating a unique body of work that bridges Eastern and Western thought. This event seeks to highlight the deep connections between Wagner’s creative vision and Japanese cultural values, while fostering dialogue and mutual inspiration between our nations.
